Our initial information was not complete. From what we have been able to determine, the park hosts will continue counting attendance at North Park on weekends for the next few months. And we have been. told by volunteers at the park that some kind of decision will be made in the spring.

So please consider visiting North Park on Saturdays and/or Sundays as much as possible.

The park hosts said the Corps of Engineers welcomes community input and they will have some comment forms available soon. When we obtain one of those, we will scan it so that you may print it, and submit it by dropping it off at the park or mailing it.

In the meantime, North Park remains open for day use until sunset every day. And the best part? It’s free.
